Printed wallpaper when carefully chosen can really give character to a home. I like it on one or two walls tops. This "Owl collection" just launched by the English designer Abigail Edwards is delight for the eye. She was inspired by her childhood woodlands and fairy tales when she hand-drawn these patterns. Each of these is printed in Lancashire, UK, on ‘paste the wall’ non-woven paper so are easier to hang than traditional wallpapers and the colours are hand mixed using non-toxic water based ink.
And being an environment friendly designer, she decided to donate five percent of the profits from the “Owls of the British Isles” style to support The Barn Owl Centre whose mission is to protect all species of owls still existing.

This first wallpaper is called "Owls of the British Isles" and represents ten different Owl Species: The barn owl, eagle owl, hawk owl, snowy owl, Tengmalm’s owl, scops owl, little owl, short eared owl, long eared owl and tawny owl.

This second wallpaper is called "Briar Owl" and was inspired by Sleeping Beauty's story. In this tale, Snowy Owls nestle amongst the tangled briars to guard the Sleeping Princess.
